The Bloco Confraternidade is a traditional carnival bloco from São Paulo that parades in the South Zone, in the neighborhood of Indianópolis. With marchinhas as its musical style, the bloco entertains revelers from 2 pm to 7 pm. Recognized by the city hall, the Bloco Confraternidade is part of the official São Paulo carnival program.

Bloco Confraternidade, an icon in the Brazilian Carnival scene, emerged in 1952 in the Tijuca neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro. Founded by a group of friends passionate about samba, the bloco became a space of joy and unity.

Bloco Confraternidade is a traditional samba bloco, dedicated to preserving and disseminating the essence of Rio samba. Its performances vibrate with the participation of musicians and dancers, infecting the public with its contagious energy.

Performances

The bloco parades annually in Tijuca, concentrating on Rua Conde de Bonfim. Its parade is accompanied by traditional instruments such as cavaquinho, pandeiro, and surdo, creating an engaging and festive atmosphere.
