About Bloco da Tchaka

The Bloco da Tchaka, created in 2020, is led by the drag queen Tchaka, known for her contagious energy and eclectic repertoire that includes samba, marchinhas, funk, and samba-enredo.

A highlight of the São Paulo Carnival, the bloco promotes inclusion and diversity, aiming to attract a varied audience. In 2025, the Bloco da Tchaka will parade on March 4th, starting at 10 am, with a gathering point at Largo do Arouche, in the city center.
