Traditionally parading in the central region of São Paulo, Lua Vai uses a sound truck to thrill the audience with hits like "Eu Me Apaixonei Pela Pessoa Errada" (I Fell in Love With the Wrong Person) and "Cheia de Manias" (Full of Quirks). The bloco attracts a diverse audience, uniting different generations through their love for 90s pagode.

Bloco Lua Vai: A Carnival of Samba and Awareness

Founded in 1994 in the cradle of Rio's carnival, Lapa, Bloco Lua Vai emerged as a celebration among friends. Over time, the bloco gained notoriety for its lively performances and original samba themes that address social, cultural, and historical issues.

With a powerful drum section and a traditional samba formation, Lua Vai infects the public with its energy during the parades. Its gathering takes place on Rua do Riachuelo, in the heart of Lapa.
