The bloco's name combines 'Minhocão,' a local overpass, with 'Drag Queens,' reflecting its origins in parties where friends dressed up in drag. It has grown to become one of São Paulo's largest LGBTQIAP+ blocos, attracting a diverse crowd with its inclusive atmosphere and high-energy performances. It traditionally parades in the República area.
