The bloco's name came from a sponsorship attempt that did not materialize. Since then, Confraria do Peru Sadio has established itself as one of the most beloved blocos in Leme, enlivening the local carnival for over two decades.

The repertoire of Confraria do Peru Sadio is centered on samba, but also includes traditional carnival marches and even 90s funk. The instrumentation includes a highlight on wind instruments.
Parades and Performances
The parades of Confraria do Peru Sadio usually take place on one of the carnival days, starting between 2 pm and 5 pm. The meeting point is in front of Sindicato do Chopp, on Avenida Atlântica. The route includes Avenida Atlântica and Avenida Princesa Isabel, returning to the starting point. The estimated audience is around 2,000 people.
