It's All or Nothing?!: A Vibrant Block of Rio's Carnival
Created in 2007 by students of Colégio Pedro II, the "É Tudo Ou Nada?!" block is a significant part of the street carnival in Rio de Janeiro. Inspired by the school's multiplication table song, the block brings joy and animation to the streets, attracting people of all ages. History and Tradition
Founded in 2007, the block gained prominence in just five years, becoming an official part of the Rio de Janeiro Carnival. Since 2015, it has had the support of the Association of Teachers of Colégio Pedro II (ADCPII) and the Union of Servers of Colégio Pedro II (SINDSCOPE).
Musical Identity
"É Tudo Ou Nada?!" has roots in samba-enredo, but is not limited to it. Its repertoire also includes Brazilian pop-rock, funk and axé, ensuring a vibrant and diverse mix during the parades.
Parades and Performances
The block parades mainly in the Humaitá neighborhood, in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro. Performances start around 10 am and last until around 4 pm. The parades follow streets such as Rua Marques, Rua Voluntários da Pátria and Rua Conde de Irajá, attracting large crowds.
