Privacy policy
Updated on 22 October 2026.
This policy explains what data Ministério do Bloco (the ministeriodobloco.com website and the Android app) collects, why, who it is shared with, and how you exercise your rights under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13,709/2018).
Who we are
Ministério do Bloco is the controller of the data described here. For any privacy request, write to contact@ministeriodobloco.com.
Data we collect
- Account: e-mail and password (stored only in encrypted form by our authentication provider) or, if you sign in with Google, the name, e-mail and photo of your Google profile.
- Profile: name, username, bio, photo and favorite cities.
- Activity: followed blocos, agenda and notification preferences.
- Social: friendships, invitations, groups, direct messages and group messages.
- Location, only if you turn it on: precise or approximate position while the app is open, to show you on the map and, if you choose, share it with accepted friends. Ghost mode erases the saved position.
- Device: installation identifier and notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) when notifications are on.
- Usage: browsing statistics from Google Analytics (pages viewed, device type, approximate city and country), through cookies.
- Organizers and advertisers: contact name, e-mail, Instagram and the bloco or listing details you submit; for listings, the amount and status of the Pix payment.
- Security: pseudonymized IP address to limit abuse, and hCaptcha verification on sign-in forms.
How we use it
We do not sell your data and do not use it for personalized advertising.
- To provide the service (performance of a contract): account, agenda, social map, messages and notifications.
- With your consent: location and notifications, which you can turn off at any time.
- For legitimate interests: security, abuse prevention and aggregated statistics to improve the product.
- For legal obligations: payment records for listings.
Who we share it with
These providers may process data outside Brazil, for example in the United States, under appropriate contractual safeguards.
- Providers that run the service on our behalf: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Google (Analytics, Google sign-in and Firebase Cloud Messaging) and hCaptcha (bot protection).
- Other people in the app: your friends see what you choose to share, such as your profile, location and messages.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep data while the account exists. When you delete your account, the data is erased immediately, except: paid listings, kept for accounting and tax obligations without any link to the account; changes made to public bloco pages, which stay published without identifying you; and our provider's backups, which expire automatically.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, portability and deletion of your data, withdraw consent and learn who we share it with. Edit your profile in Settings, turn off location with ghost mode, delete your account on the account deletion page, or write to contact@ministeriodobloco.com. You can also complain to Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as your chosen city. Google Analytics cookies, used for usage statistics, are only turned on if you accept them in the cookie notice. You can change your choice at any time through the Cookies link in the footer.
Security and children
Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access to it is restricted by database rules. The service is not intended for children under 13.
Changes
We will publish any change to this policy here, with its new update date.
To delete your account and the data linked to it, use the account deletion page.
