Founded in 2013 by locals from Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, the "A Gente se Vira" bloco (street band) exudes excitement and interaction with the audience. Its proposal is to play mainly samba-enredo (theme song samba), with influences from funk and axé.

The bloco holds regular rehearsals at the Unidos da Tijuca samba school court and participates in important events such as "Bloco na Rua" and "Carnaval da Diversidade" (Diversity Carnival).
