Founded on January 20, 1985, Terceiro Vagão (Third Wagon) is a Rio de Janeiro carnival group that stands out for its community spirit and cheerful atmosphere. Born in the neighborhood of Botafogo, in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro, the group was created by a group of friends with the aim of innovating the revelry, prioritizing fun and creativity.

Musical Style and Identity

Terceiro Vagão is known for its creative costumes and its eclectic musical style. Its repertoire includes samba, carnival marches, and popular Brazilian songs. The group's percussion section, composed of 200 percussionists, guarantees the animation of the revelers, while a sound car with musicians and performers completes the structure of the procession.
