About Bloco Boca (Antigo Bloco Boca de Veludo)
Bloco Boca, formerly known as Bloco Boca de Veludo, founded in 2016, is one of the most popular Carnival blocks in São Paulo. Its unique musical style mixes pop and electronic music, transforming the streets into an open-air dance floor.
The block stands out for its ability to attract large crowds, as in 2019, when it gathered more than 200,000 revelers. It traditionally parades in the Berrini region, with concentration on Avenida Engenheiro Luís Carlos Berrini and dispersion on the same avenue, near Rua Florida.
