Known for its lively atmosphere and quality samba theme song, the block presents a parade with a float, percussion section, and samba dancers, enlivening the streets of Tijuca during Carnival.

Bloco Santinha é a Mãe: Samba and Animation in Tijuca

Founded in 1995, the Bloco Santinha é a Mãe (Little Saint is the Mother Block) pays homage to the patron saint of Tijuca, Saint Teresa. With its contagious animation and quality samba theme song, the block is a highlight of the Rio de Janeiro Carnival.
