Founded in 2003 in the Grajaú neighborhood, in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro, the Bloco Cultural Carnavalesco Boêmios da Madame is an homage to the iconic figure of samba and Rio's bohemian life: Madame Satã.

Boêmios da Madame presents a lively and interactive repertoire of traditional samba, with influences of choro and gafieira. Its performances involve the public, creating a contagious atmosphere.

Structure and Performances

The bloco meets regularly for rehearsals and performances in bars and nightclubs in Grajaú. Annually, it participates in the official parade of the Rio de Janeiro Carnival, bringing its joy and rhythm to the streets of the city.
