About Bloco do Pequeno Burgues
Founded in 2014, Bloco do Pequeno Burguês (The Petty Bourgeois Block) is a traditional carnival block from the northern zone of São Paulo, known for its authenticity and originality. Standing out for its samba and pagode repertoire, the block parades in the Santana region, reinforcing its commitment to the decentralization of carnival.
In addition to its regular parades during carnival, Bloco do Pequeno Burguês also participates in post-carnival events and anniversary celebrations, demonstrating its social and political engagement. The block has contributed to the revitalization of street carnival in São Paulo, becoming an integral part of this cultural manifestation in the city.
