About Bloquinho Gente Miúda

Bloquinho Gente Miúda is a children's carnival bloco from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Founded in 1994, it was created with the aim of bringing children and families together for Carnival celebrations. The bloco’s musical repertoire includes traditional Carnival songs adapted for children, as well as original compositions. It parades in the neighborhood of Lagoa, offering a safe and fun environment for kids to enjoy the festivities. The bloco has a very light and joyful atmosphere, with participants often wearing colorful costumes.
