About Broadwayzinho

Broadwayzinho: The Block that Celebrates the Essence of Samba

In the contagious rhythm of marchinhas, the Broadwayzinho block emerged on the São Paulo carnival scene in 2007. Founded by friends from the Catete neighborhood, this group has been rescuing and valuing the culture of samba, blending influences from samba-enredo, gafieira samba, and samba-canção.

With joy and lightheartedness, Broadwayzinho presents its own compositions and reinterpretations of samba classics. Its performances are marked by interaction with the public, who are infected by the energy and passion of the members.

Since its founding, the block has been gaining more and more space in the São Paulo carnival. With its eclectic repertoire and its proposal to rescue the essence of samba, Broadwayzinho is consolidating itself as one of the most traditional and beloved blocks in the city.
