Founded in 2019, Coreto do Samba values traditional samba, samba rock, and samba reggae. Its mission is to celebrate diversity, faith, and Afro-Brazilian heritage. The bloco honors the energies of the Orixás and highlights the importance of Afro-Brazilian traditions in the development of samba.

Despite its short history, Coreto do Samba has gained space in the São Paulo carnival scene. Led by singer Paulo Cézar, the bloco parades on Rua Augusta, an important cultural meeting point in the city, expanding its reach and impact.
