Moradia e FoliaULCM: Joy and Resistance in the Periphery

Founded in 2015 in the ULCM Housing Complex, in Cidade Tiradentes, the "Moradia e FoliaULCM" bloco (street band) emerged as a symbol of integration and appreciation of the community.

The bloco seeks to bring joy and culture to its neighborhood, known for facing social problems. It stands out as a symbol of resistance and appreciation of popular culture in the periphery.

With a drum section, dancers, and a sound car, the bloco enchants with its lively and cheerful performances, with the participation of the community. Its repertoire is mainly samba-enredo, influenced by funk and axé.
