Bloco do Tamanco

Bloco do Tamanco is an authentic Carnival school, founded in 2013, based in the Padre Miguel neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro! It is known for bringing joy and respect to the streets during Carnival. With a gathering at 11 am and dispersal around 5 pm, the bloco parades through streets D and Figueiredo Camargo! It attracts around 500 people.

Tá Chegando a Hora

"Tá Chegando a Hora" is located in Pedra de Guaratiba, in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro, with events at Rua Barros de Alarcão, 370. Tá Pirando, Pirado, Pirou!

"Tá Pirando, Pirado, Pirou!" is a "bloco" (street band) from Rio de Janeiro founded in December 2004 on Avenida Pasteur, in Rio de Janeiro. Inspired by a user of the Philippe Pinel Institute, the bloco promotes the inclusion of people with mental disorders and awareness about mental health.
