The Amigos da Barra block was created in 2016 in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, with the aim of bringing joy and excitement to the streets during Carnival. In 2017, it moved to Avenida Lúcio Costa and established itself as a popular and well-known event. With its diverse musical structure, mixing funk, samba and other Brazilian rhythms, the Amigos.

History and Tradition

Founded in 2016, Bloco Amigos da Barra arose from the union of friends who wanted to spread joy and excitement on the streets of Barra da Tijuca during Carnival. Initially, the bloco performed on a fixed sound truck. In 2017, the parade was moved to Avenida Lúcio Costa, where it became established as a popular and well-known event.
