Balanço do Pinto: Revelry and Joy in the Streets of Tijuca
Balanço do Pinto is a street bloco (carnival band) that brings animation and revelry to the streets of Tijuca during Carnival. Founded in 2008, the bloco began its parades in 2009, bringing samba and other traditional rhythms to the streets.

The name of the bloco refers to Rua Pinto de Figueiredo (Pinto de Figueiredo Street), where its parades traditionally concentrate. Balanço do Pinto is part of the context of street carnival in Rio de Janeiro, characterized by music, dance, and celebration.

Practical Information
In 2024, the Balanço do Pinto parade took place on February 12th, with concentration starting at 4 PM and dispersal at 10 PM. The route included Rua Pinto de Figueiredo, Av. Maracanã, Rua Barão de Mesquita, Rua Gen. Roca, and Rua Conde de Bonfim, ending again on Rua Pinto de Figueiredo.
