About Bloco do Ezatamentchy
O Bloco do Ezatamentchy, one of the most emblematic LGBTQIAPN+ blocks of the São Paulo carnival, stands out for its activism and inclusion. Founded about 10 years ago, the block promotes empowerment and diversity, engaging in campaigns against LGBTphobia and maintaining the manifesto magazine EZATAMAG. Musically, it presents an eclectic mix that reflects the diversity of the community.
The Ezatamentchy parades in the Santa Cecília neighborhood, with concentration on Rua Fortunato. Its cultural impact goes beyond carnival, involving itself in inclusive pre-carnival events for the deaf and LGBTI communities, demonstrating its commitment to accessibility and representativeness.
