Bloco dos Bancários: An Icon of São Paulo's Samba-Enredo

Founded in 1958 by employees of Banco do Brasil, the Bloco dos Bancários (Bank Workers' Block) emerged in the Vila Mariana neighborhood of São Paulo as "Bloco dos Bancários do Brasil" (Bank Workers' Block of Brazil). Since then, it has become a reference in the São Paulo carnival scene.

The block stands out for its high-quality samba-enredo (theme samba), recognized for its musicality and elaborate lyrics. Its performances are marked by the contagious drumming, talented dancers, and creative thematic wings, reinforcing the culture of samba.
