Bloco Fantasy: A Carnival of Creativity and Fantasy
Founded in 1981, Bloco Fantasy is one of the most famous carnival blocks in Rio de Janeiro. With a proposal focused on elaborate costumes, the block transforms the city streets into a true spectacle of colors and creativity.
History and Origin
Inspired by the street carnival of Trinidad and Tobago, Bloco Fantasy was created by a group of friends in Copacabana. Since then, the block has become an icon of the Rio de Janeiro carnival, bringing together revelers of all ages and styles.
