Parading in Lapa

Leopoldina traditionally parades on Rua Carlos Weber, in Lapa. This location keeps the block connected to its roots in the west zone, contributing to the decentralization of carnival festivities in São Paulo.

Although the block's musical repertoire is not widely documented, it is common for São Paulo carnival blocks to present an eclectic mix of rhythms. Traditional marchinhas, samba-enredo, and reinterpretations of popular songs in carnival arrangements liven up the parade.
