"Boêmios de Sepetiba": The Charm of the West Zone in Rio's Carnival

Founded in 2007, in the Sepetiba neighborhood, West Zone of Rio de Janeiro, "Boêmios de Sepetiba" emerged to bring the vibrant festive spirit of the region to Rio's Carnival. With warm and welcoming performances, the bloco has become a meeting point for residents and visitors.
Musical Identity and Repertoire
"Boêmios de Sepetiba" presents an eclectic repertoire, mixing samba, regional music, and popular cultural manifestations. The performances are marked by contagious joy and an inclusive atmosphere.
Practical Information
The bloco usually performs on Recôncavo Beach and in other locations in Sepetiba, such as Clube Reconcavo and Estrada São Tarcísio. Performances usually take place in the late afternoon or early evening, around 6 pm or 8 pm. "Boêmios de Sepetiba" participates in the official Rio Carnival parades, with performances on various days, including Sundays, Tuesdays, and Ash Wednesday. The parades for the 2024 and 2025 carnivals are already scheduled.
