Concentra Imperial: the bloco that brings the history of Santa Cruz to Carnival! Founded on October 6, 2019, as a Recreational Samba School Association, it recognizes itself as a representative of the neighborhood community. With the colors red, white, and gold, the bloco is based in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro, on Intendente Magalhães street. With a "Hurricane" drum section.

About the Bloco

Concentra Imperial is a Recreational Guild and Samba School founded in 2019. Representing the community of Santa Cruz, in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro, the bloco is proud of its history and cultural heritage.

History and Tradition

Inspired by the bloco "Concentra Mais Não Sai" (2015), Concentra Imperial officially emerged on October 6, 2019. Its name pays homage to the Santa Cruz neighborhood, a former summer retreat of the Portuguese Royal Family.

Musical Identity

Concentra Imperial presents samba de raiz in its parades and performances. The "Furacão Imperial" drum section is known for its strong and refined style.

Parades and Performances

The bloco participates in parades at Intendente Magalhães and organizes street parades in Santa Cruz.
