Bloco Largadinho

Bloco Largadinho is a popular carnival bloco from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, known for its high energy and vibrant performances. The bloco was founded by the singer Claudia Leitte in 2014, who also leads the group as the main vocalist. Largadinho was created with the intention of bringing a unique experience to the streets of Salvador's carnival, characterized by a mix of axé, funk, and electronic music.

The bloco's name, "Largadinho," which translates to "a little bit loose" or "carefree," reflects the bloco's spirit of uninhibited fun and celebration. This atmosphere is mirrored in the bloco’s parades where participants are encouraged to let loose, dance freely, and immerse themselves in the joyful spirit of the carnival. Largadinho’s parades are not just about the music; they also showcase elaborate costumes, choreography, and visual spectacle, making them one of the most anticipated events during Salvador’s carnival.

The bloco parades in the traditional carnival circuits of Salvador. The parades attract large crowds every year and have become an icon of the Salvadoran Carnival. Largadinho’s music repertoire typically includes Claudia Leitte's hits, as well as carnival classics and current popular songs, all performed with the bloco's signature high energy. The bloco has become one of the most beloved attractions of Bahia's carnival, drawing a diverse crowd of revelers each year.
