O Fervo da Lud mainly parades in downtown Rio de Janeiro, on Rua Primeiro de Março. In 2024, due to the large crowd, the route extended to Avenida Presidente Antônio Carlos. In 2025, the bloco also has a parade scheduled in Salvador, Bahia, on the Barra-Ondina circuit.

O Fervo da Lud was created in 2018 and quickly became one of the most popular street bands of the Rio carnival. In 2020, before the COVID-19 pandemic, the bloco attracted around 1 million people.
