Bloco Não Deixe o Rock Sair de Você

Bloco Não Deixe o Rock Sair de Você (Don't Let the Rock Out of You) is a vibrant and energetic carnival bloco that brings the spirit of rock and roll to the streets of Rio de Janeiro during Carnival. Founded in 2014, this bloco stands out for its unique musical style, diverging from the traditional samba and pagode rhythms that dominate most of the Carnival festivities. Instead, it features a powerful blend of classic rock anthems, both national and international, creating an electrifying experience for its participants.

The bloco's repertoire includes iconic songs from bands like Queen, AC/DC, and Raul Seixas, all adapted to the rhythmic and festive atmosphere of Carnival. Their performances are not just about playing rock music; they are about creating a true rock concert experience in the middle of the street, with the crowd singing along to every guitar riff and drum beat. The bloco attracts a diverse crowd, from rock aficionados to those simply looking for a different kind of Carnival experience.

Bloco Não Deixe o Rock Sair de Você typically parades in the neighborhoods of Botafogo and Flamengo, areas known for their lively and festive atmosphere during Carnival. Its parades are characterized by the intense energy of its musicians and the crowd’s enthusiastic participation, making it a must-see for anyone who loves rock music and wants to experience the magic of Rio Carnival. With its rebellious spirit and innovative approach, the bloco has carved a unique space in the Carnival landscape of Rio de Janeiro, proving that rock and roll also has a place in the biggest street party in the world.
