Founded in 2005, the "It's Small, But It Will Grow" block is a carnival jewel that radiates enthusiasm and joy. With its pulsating percussion and diverse rhythms, the block creates an optimistic and welcoming environment, prioritizing traditional carnival music and providing a healthy and family-friendly space for everyone.

History and Tradition

Emerging as a collective in 2005, the block became a wing of "Escravos da Mauá" in 2006. In 2007, due to its growth, it became independent, forming the "Cultural and Carnival Society It's Small, But It Will Grow". The name of the block reflects its growth trajectory and the need to emancipate itself.

Musical Identity

The block stands out for its percussion with traditional carnival rhythms, which includes frevo, samba, and marchinhas. The block's repertoire emphasizes traditional music, creating an authentic and engaging atmosphere.

Parades and Performances

"It's Small, But It Will Grow" holds street parades during the carnival period, with a gathering before the procession. On some occasions, it offers t-shirts that include access to drinks and food. In Natal, the block also organizes a carnival ball with musical performances.
